Athens web development & SEO — serving clients nationwide and worldwide

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This policy explains what SitePlot Media collects when you use siteplotmedia.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It describes how this site actually works rather than covering hypothetical situations that do not apply to us.

Who we are

SitePlot Media LLC is a web development and SEO studio based at 340 Commerce Blvd, Ste 101-B
Athens, GA 30606. You can reach us at [email protected] or 678-453-4590. We are the data controller for information collected through this website.

What we collect, and when

Information you give us

When you submit our contact form or the pop-in questionnaire, we collect the fields you complete: your name, email address, phone number, company name, current website, budget range, which service you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message field. The questionnaire also records the answers you select about your needs, timing, and business type.

This information is stored in our website database and emailed to us. We use it to reply to you and, if you become a client, to deliver the work.

Information collected when you pay

If you start a build through our checkout, payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers — we do not see, store, or have access to your card number. Stripe shares with us a record of the transaction, your billing name, email, and address. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs their handling of that data.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server logs record your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the site you arrived from. If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects similar information to help us understand which pages are useful.

Analytics and marketing scripts do not run until you consent. Our cookie banner defaults to denying analytics, advertising, and personalization storage; nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies loads until you choose otherwise. You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage cookies” link in our footer.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies remember your cookie preferences and keep forms working. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to measure traffic, and may use Google Tag Manager and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising measurement.

Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie, what it does, and how long it lasts.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and answer questions
  • To prepare proposals and deliver services you have engaged us for
  • To process payments and issue receipts
  • To understand which pages and articles are useful, so we can write better ones
  • To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in a contact form — if we ever start a newsletter, you will have to opt in deliberately.

Who else sees your information

We share data only with the services required to run the business:

  • Our web host — stores the site and its database
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Google — Analytics and Search Console, where you have consented
  • Our email provider — delivers form notifications and our replies to you

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to two years, so we have context if you come back to us. Client records, contracts, and invoices are kept for seven years to satisfy tax and accounting requirements. Analytics data follows Google’s retention settings. You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Provide a copy of it
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Delete it
  • Stop using it for a particular purpose

Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you these rights and the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you comparable rights, including the right to know what is collected and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information as the CCPA defines it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and sanitized before storage, and administrative access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — but we do not store payment card data, which removes the most sensitive category of risk entirely.

Children

This site is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our portfolio links to client websites, and articles sometimes link to external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted clearly rather than quietly edited in.
